Places to Visit

  • The Kosi Suspension Bridge

    It is more than a 100 years old. And a lot of adventure sport activities are organised here by experts. Ask for more information about these at the resort. Once at the suspension bridge, treat yourself to some hot maggi and nimbu pani at the stalls. And then get on to the walking trail to the Garjia devi temple. You don’t need a guide for this.

  • Garjia Devi Temple

    About 2 kms. from Corbett, on the way to Ranikhet, is a huge rock in the midst of river Kosi. This place has been named Garjia Devi after the deity. A main agenda in every tourist itinerary is, visit to Garjia Temple- a most worth seeing spot of Kumaoni jungle - temple on a hill surrounded by Kosi river. Temple visit after crossing river by locally made wooden bridge, creates charming movements to every guest's itinerary.

  • Corbett Wildlife Museum

    Corbett Museum at Dhangarhi where you will see the belonging and life history of Mr. Jim Corbett still intact at the museum with some of the animals at Corbett Wildlife Museum.

  • Kalagarh Dam

    A 128 m tall dam, built over the Ramganga River in Pauri Garhwal district, is situated in the south-western side of the park. The picturesque and calm surroundings compose a perfect setting for welcoming the migratory birds, making the area one of the most desirable places for bird watching.

  • Sunrise Point

    The Sunrise Point is the highest peak in the park provides a perfect point to have a panoramic view of both Kosi and Ramganga rivers.

  • Dhangari Museum

    Here you will watch the educational details about floras and faunas of Corbett Park with trophies of naturally dead animals i.e. Tiger, Leopard, Tusker, Deer, Sambhar and Crocodile etc.

  • Corbett Fall

    A half day visit to this beautiful spot of Corbett's periphery area with a jade green fall is a pleasant trip. Corbett falls is located 3 kms from Kaladhungi which is a welcome by nature with sound of water. Corbett falls is very much similar to the famous Kempty falls in Mussoorie, but Corbett falls is not spoiled by tourists and locals as compared to Kempty falls. The cool clear water cascading from a height is a beauty worth admiring. Above all, the passage that leads you to the Corbett Falls will fascinate you much before you reach there. The 1.7 kms long path with chirping and flights of birds send you a clarion call for a heaven ahead.

  • Sitabani Temple

    About 15 kms. from Ram Nagar is a place called Sitabani. Legend has it that Devi Sita, the consort of Lord Rama had entered into the lap of Mother Earth here. A fair is held here during Ram Navmi.

  • Sitabani Forest Reserve

    Sitabani Forest Reserve is about 15 km from Ramnagar. The reserve provides an abode to a good number of wildlife, including tiger, leopard, barking deer, jackals, wild boars, elephant and king cobra. A heaven for bird lovers, many species of feathered creatures beautify the environs of Sitabani. Associated with the epic Ramayana, it is believed to be the place where Goddess Sita spent her days of exile.
